WHO WE ARE

The B'MORE Fund is a Giving Circle created by emerging leaders who are celebrating the work of social entrepreneurs in the region while at the same time becoming more informed about grantmaking, philanthropy, and the issues affecting our community.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

Giving Circles are a new trend in philanthropy where people pool their resources - typically time, talent and/or money - and make decisions as a group on how to use the resources to impact a specific cause or interest area.

B'MORE Fund members are pooling resources and identifying, publicizing and celebrating individuals who, through their work, enrich the lives of Baltimore's residents. The B’MORE Fund recognizes these individuals and their work by honoring them with cash awards made once each year.

The overall goals of the B'MORE Fund are to:

• Leverage financial, social and human capital for philanthropic impact
• Increase the awareness of fund members and the community about issues affecting the region
• Provide members opportunities for hands-on involvement in grantmaking and social investment
• Celebrate the work of social entrepreneurs in our community
• Incubate a network of leaders and increase philanthropy in the region

What does this mean? Opportunity. It's our turn to make a difference.
